A public hearing has been scheduled for December 1, 2025 at 6:00 p.m. in the Ashtabula Township C.D. Ray Community Room, 2718 North Ridge Road East, Ashtabula, Ohio to consider an application submitted by Chuck Stewart representing Sheetz located at 2214 East Prospect Road. The application was denied due to the applicant not meeting the required district rear setback and accessory building height. The applicant is requesting a 16.7 foot rear yard setback to allow for a 33.3 foot rear yard setback. Regulation is 50 foot setback. They are also requesting a 6' 71/4' height variance to allow for a 21' 7 1/4' canopy height. The regulation in 18 feet for accessory buildings.
