Public Hearing Board of Zoning Appeals

A public hearing has been scheduled for June 15, 2026 at 5:00 p.m. to consider an application submitted by Jeffrey Warrn, to install an attached garage onto the principle structure at 3236 Latimer Ave. The application was denied on the basis of having an insufficient right side yard setback. Our Ashtabula Township Zoning Rules and Regulations states in accordance to Article 4, Section 442 that the required side yard setback shall be (5’) feet from the side property line with a frontage of 70’ feet or less. He is proposing the addition to sit 1’ foot from the right on the side property line; hence it will require a 4’ foot variance.

All Concerts will be held at 7:00 p.m. In the event of poor weather conditions, the program will be inside at the East Side Presbyterian Church across from the gazebo. Refreshments will be available, and restrooms will be provided by East Side Presbyterian Church. No chairs will be furnished, please bring your own chairs if desired.
